Belden Announces Strategic Technology Alliance with Dynics to Protect Industrial Networks
St. Louis, Missouri – June 9, 2021 – Belden, a leading global supplier of specialty networking solutions, today announced a new partnership with Dynics, a provider of factory automation, hardware and software solutions. This strategic technology alliance agreement will bring a robust cybersecurity solution to market with best-in-class technology to protect industrial networks.
As companies continue to embrace Industry 4.0 and the journey to digitally transform their industrial networks, the need for resilient and reliable cybersecurity solutions continues to increase. Ransomware attacks are occurring with more and more frequency across all industry sectors, causing disruptions in the supply chain, threats to day-to-day operations and costly ransom payments to regain control of networks. The partnership between Belden and Dynics will provide protection against such attacks, bringing together proven technologies that deliver a secure firewall management solution for discrete manufacturing sub-verticals such as automotive and consumer-packaged goods manufacturing, as well as other markets.
“The world is changing. The needs of our customers are changing. With that, Belden is modifying how we deliver solutions and outcomes to customers. The alliance with Dynics is just one example of how we will co-innovate with partners to help drive the business results of our customers,” said Dr. Ashish Chand, Executive Vice President, Industrial Automation at Belden. “Proper firewall management is a core element to any industrial network and the pairing of technologies from Dynics and Belden will protect our customers against cyber events and threats.”
The partnership will bring together Belden’s firewall management hardware solutions from Hirschmann and Tofino Security and Dynics’ Cybersecurity Console to protect against both intentional and accidental threats to industrial networks.
