NATHALIE BERGER DUQUENE APPOINTED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT,
GLOBAL GENERAL MANAGER, BALMAIN BEAUTY
NEW YORK, NY – Today, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. (NYSE: EL) (“ELC”) announced that Nathalie Berger Duquene has been appointed Senior Vice President, Global General Manager, BALMAIN BEAUTY, effective immediately. Nathalie will report to Guillaume Jesel, President, Global Brands, TOM FORD BEAUTY, BALMAIN BEAUTY and Luxury Business Development.
“Drawing from the authentic heritage of BALMAIN, Nathalie will partner with me and the team at BALMAIN to establish BALMAIN BEAUTY as the future of luxury, couture beauty,” said Guillaume. “With more than 20 years of experience in luxury beauty marketing, Nathalie is ideally suited to take on this position and help bring our new visionary luxury brand BALMAIN BEAUTY to market, and into the hands of consumers globally.”
With the anticipated launch of BALMAIN BEAUTY in 2024, Nathalie will lead a team in all aspects of strategy, concepting and innovation in collaboration with the leadership of BALMAIN.
Nathalie joined The Estée Lauder Companies in June 2019 as Vice President/General Manager, TOM FORD BEAUTY and Kilian Paris, EMEA. In this role she successfully led the acceleration of key fragrance initiatives, increased ranking of key products at retail and grew their in-store presence. In her most recent role as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, TOM FORD BEAUTY, Nathalie’s leadership further positioned the brand to reach its future rank ambitions. She helped deepen the collaborative mindset across teams, resulting in strong innovation plans, impactful go-to-market strategies, elevated and aspirational storytelling, and a solid foundation for future profitable growth. Prior to ELC, Nathalie held global, international and regional roles across brands including with Armani Beauty, Lancôme, Helena Rubinstein, Biotherm and Guerlain. Nathalie holds an MBA from ESSEC in Paris.
